About StarBank

StarBank CJSC offers all the main types of banking products and services in rubles and foreign currency, and operates on the securities market. Among the main activities are financing (physical and legal entities) and securities transactions. The bank actively works with private individuals (deposits, transfers, loans) and develops mortgage financing. 

The main bank clients are physical entities, individual entrepreneurs as well as small and medium businesses.

StarBank CJSC holds licenses from the Central Bank of Russia # 548 dated October 14, 2008 and licenses of a securities market professional to act as a broker and dealer and to manage securities and to conduct depository transactions. 

The bank is a member of a deposit insurance system.

In March 2009, AK&М rating agency raised the creditworthiness of StarBank CJSC on a national scale from В+ with positive outlook to В++ with stable outlook. This rating increase was due to a series of positive changes and trends in the business of StarBank. In June 2009, Expert RA Rating Agency gave the bank a В+ rating - sufficient level of solvency. StarBank reached this rating due to a high level of equity capital adequacy, relatively low amount of delinquency in the portfolio and high indicators of quick and current liquidity.

As of August 1, 2010, shares of StarBank were at 7.5 billion rubles, equity capital was at 1.022 billion rubles.

Our history

StarBank CJSC has been on the banking services market since 1980.

The bank was created as a branch of Stroybank of USSR, later Promstroybank of USSR.

In October 1990, the Noyabrsk Commercial Bank was created based on the Noyabrsk specialized division of Promstroybank. Its shareholders were mainly divisions of Noyabrskneftgas.

Subsequently, the Central Bank of Russia registered the Noyabrsk Commercial Bank (later renamed Noyabrsk Municipal Bank) on October 23, 1990 under #548.

On May 4, 2007, the new name StarBank (StarBank CJSC) was registered by the Central Bank of Russia.

The decision to rename the Noyabrsk Municipal Bank was made at the general shareholder's meeting on December 26, 2006. The reason for name change was the change of bank owners and a new strategy of active expansion of bank branches and expansion outside the territory of Yamal.  

On October 3, 2008, the bank moved its headquarters and registered in Moscow.
